Dear Parents/ Carers,

This termly letter is to inform you of the exciting projects and topics that we are learning about in Year 5. This term we will be studying plants and animals and their life cycles as well as Brazil.

P.E.

PE is on Thursday but children should leave their full kit at school all week.

Homework

The homework will be handed out on Wednesdays, to be returned the following Tuesday.

Weekly homework will include:

 Times tables and a Maths task

 Weekly spellings and five sentences

 Reading each week night

The children have also been given some termly homework based on our Brilliant Brazil topic. The children earn points through completing dif-ferent tasks. This homework is due in on the last week of the summer term. (Week beginning Monday 15th July).
